Shiho's Extra Lab, for those who don't know, is a run that pits you against demons of most remarkable caliber (and challenge). The run becomes available once bearcat have been unlocked and can only be attempted once every 21 hours. In Shiho's Extra Lab, you are given 3 minutes to clear as many waves as possible (or get wrecked in the most spectacular ways possible). It should be noted that almighty attacks are null most of the time in this run and most (if not all) enemy absorbs become repels. These are bearcat demons so don't forget that they have mitama resistances and features and naturally high damage reduction.
Wave 1:
Black Frost, Nue, Purski, and Tarasque
While relatively not difficult, they are still very dangerous to the unprepared. Expect a barrage of aoe elemental rushes and dynes. Seems the average hit is around 400-600 damage with pulse up which, individually is not much, but collectively can be quite dangerous. HP pools are around 30-40k, a remarkable amount for bearcat type demons. It seems that the only affinities that can be used without being reflected are the 3 support affinities (mag/mind/nerve).
Wave 2:
Nyx, Hecatonchiers, and Artemis
This wave is a whole different level of difficulty compared to the previous wave and can destroy even will bred R8R8 demons remarkably quickly. Heca will chase you down with an aoe rush (~1k damage pulsed, blunt aff?) along and an unblockable shock melee. Nyx will spam Enhanced Erosion Hex (Unblockable, ~400 damage pulsed, and all three damage hexes) stopping only to fire off a few Kiss Cannons. Artemis, the most dangerous, will snipe you with Eclipse (almighty ~800 damage pulsed) and Thread of the Forest which, due to her Silver Bow feature, is boosted to absurdly overpowered levels (line aoe, ~2k damage pulsed). With Nyx's hex applied, Thread can skyrocket to upwards of 4k damage pulsed, and becomes something you really don't want pointed in your general direction. Nyx will repel all magic (can be hexed though), Arte will repel all lngr affinities, and Heca will repel all physical affinities (along with fire). HP pools are ~30-40k.
Wave 3:
To be Determined.
Dust reward has so far been determined to have a minimum of 5, +5 for clearing one enemy in Wave 1, +5 for clearing Wave 1, and cut if half, rounded up if you die.
