Is the Chinese server going to be enough to revive the community?
For me, personally, it's a bit unplayable due to heavy lag. The main thing I can do is farm plasma. I can't even talk to people for the most part. Maybe "heavily base" the English private server on how the Chinese one works? With more updated systems, of course. Wasn't the updater a big issue (at least initially)?

With WTFast service, Sephira posted before, the server has not so much lags and quite playable. Just have to setup connection to chinese servers. Also LF clan. GMT+3, 19:00-0:00. Had experience at Aeria/Atlus before.

Hopefully, if everyone is starting fresh I don't see why we can't revive it, gives us reason to play I guess??? Just need to get more peeps into it! Because this server is complete utter crap. Joke's aside, those of us who played the Japanese server and leveled up to 70+ just don't see the reason to do all of that on a server who lacks content, security, and speed. It's a major slap in the face to those of us who played on a high quality server. PLUS the idiot who own the Chinese server is charging people real money for something he illegally stole. Something which he or they or she did not create, spend hours developing, and owns legally. Odds are if they don't get money from people they will shut it down. Lastly, people had to start four freakin' times. First when Aeria gave the game to Atlus. Then when Atlus gave the game to Marvelous. Then when Marvelous quit and let users head towards playing the only genuine server, Japan's server. So believe me when I say this, unless there is a solid server, oldies such as myself, will not seriously start all over. Well five times if they make an account on the Chinese one, you get my point though. 1. Aeria (first american server) 2. Atlus (second american server) 3. Marvelous (third american server) 4. Japan (fourth Original server) 5. China (Old outdated fifth server)

Erm, small nitpick. Server order/history was actually more like:
1) Initial release: Japan (original server) - in '06 or '07 2) Second server: Aeria (first international server) - fall/winter '08 3,4,5,82) Multiple foreign language servers (German was one; I forget the other ones) - '09 or '10
Note that players DID have to start over on the foreign language servers if I recall correctly. However, when those servers were merged back into the NA server, they were allowed to transfer their data although some gear sets and items were exchanged due to not having been released or being extremely rare on the NA server.
Then there was the transfer to Atlus/Marvelous. During those transfers, most players did not have to start over.
When the Marvelous/Atlus server shut down, some players migrated to the Japanese servers. There was no transfer of data for these players.
So really, the only way people would have started from scratch more than four times is if they played the original Japanese release first, then played on Aeria, then played one or more of the European releases, then decided to remake (or lost access to) their Japanese characters after the NA server shutdown and then ultimately rerolled on this unofficial CN server. I'm pretty sure that I can comfortably say that most players have only started from scratch once (NA server) or twice (Japanese server) before moving to the CN server.

Still I stand by what I said majority. People -such as myself- did have to start four or more times because its obvious During aeria public signups, during when aeria gave them game to atlus (and yes don't forget that these so called "transfers" had a deadline in which some of us such as myself did not meet) therefore making us create another account all over, during atlus transfer to marvelous (same story), when marvelous quit their operations and had english users migrate to japanese version (which is why I said original on my list), lastly now that people are signing up for the chinese versions (which I am sure most don't even know it exists yet)
