So I have a level 19 character who is built around melee, but with some skill in both Curative Spells and Medicine (Imagine my character as a Cleric from D&D). After I chose that I would build myself on Melee, I heard that Gunners were favored in the game. I noticed some of this when I needed help going through the Grey Plate dungeon of Suginami Tunnels with a player who uses a plasma gun (he was level 22, I was level 18 at the moment). It looked as though I did less than 1/2 of the damage he was giving out to enemies, with him being able to kill Demons in two hits, when it took me around 3 or 5. Should I change my build? If so, how can I?

I would say that the problem with melee is that there is no chain expertise in this version of the game. I had a melee character, and I used the Flamehorn weapon, and sugi was pretty easy (mainly because 90% of the demons in there are weak to fire). Other than that, I think that destruction dash tops melee in a long shot, the only benefit I see to a pure melee character is the fact that you can just build strength and vitality, which can make you pretty beefy. I don't know everything about the game, that's just what I've experienced so far. As for changing builds, it depends on if you just want to dish out damage or not. I can help you in game with some stuff if you'd like. Username is Yukari, I'm a level 29 Magic Bullet. Best of luck to you mate!

Strength and Vitality are my biggest stats, and Speed is a close one (I thought it increased skill speed, not gun damage.). Do you know how I can change builds?

Sorry, been away from the forums. Anyhoo, you can buy lethe's bottles from the cp shop for 10k macca a piece (I think, can't fact check it because the store is down atm). At such an early level though, I'd just recommend making a new character on a different account, simply because in order to reset your stats, you need an hourglass which Is around 50 thousand macca I think (Again, not sure about the price lol). As far as stats go, if you wanna be a melee character and dish out tons of damage, you're going to want to go destruction dash (Magic Fist). You can put points into vitality, and you will also get hp up with rush. As for damage, Destruction dash works mainly off of magic, so instead of strength, just put points into magic. When I first unlocked Destruction Dash, I was hitting 150-200 easily in sugi bronze. Here's the link for destruction dash if you're interested in that >>: megaten.sesshou.com/wiki/index.php/Magic_Fist

Not a problem man! and Yeah, Nakano plasmas can yield you about 150-200k per run, it just takes a lot to unlearn everything is all. The CP shop is down at the moment, but you can buy the items I mentioned here >>: acg7.vicp.net:8888/passport/shop.php?fenglei=98Just click consumables and it should be down there somewhere. Best of luck to ya!
