Hello, everyone. I am a big SMT fan, and lately I have been kinda running out of Megaten games to play, since I've cleared most of them. So I wanted to try out IMAGINE, especially after I've been looking into Giten and NINE, both of which are spin-offs of SMT1, just like IMAGINE.
I tried playing on the Chinese server, and have encountered one of the problems I have with MMOs - most of the time it's impossible to play comfortably (or play at all) because of crazy lags and desync, since there's a lot of players on the server most of the time.
After browsing through the Private Server thread, I've seen quite a few people asking for an offline mode, so I'm glad someone shares my sentiment. Personally, I'm interested in the game's story, solo challenge and references to other games more than anything, so a Stand Alone version would've been perfect for me.
So, my question is, is it possible to mod the game to play it in offline mode, similar to SMT NINE? Preferrably, the translated version of latest update of the Japanese server before it got closed. That way people who would like to play the most complete version of the game solo wouldn't have to worry about the problem with lags and desync.

The private server will be open source, and as far as I know, the devs are planning to release instructions detailing how to configure a server. It should be possible to set up a local one on your home network, although I have no idea what the minimum specs needed will be.
