This is mostly just a quick note detailing the quests that you can do while clearing Sugi Bronze. It's a great boost to EXP for lower levels, and one of the quests gives a talisman that's guaranteed to help you out!
So first off, these quests. Talk to the left guard at the entrance to Sugi Tunnels, and choose the second option.
It should look like: 仕事の話をする
After a few boxes of text, you should be faced with two more options.
The first option should be similar to the previous one, and contains all the quests you can accept.
The second option reads as: 討伐の報告をする. This option shows the quests you've completed and can get the reward from.
What quests are there?
-Kill the boss Garm (gives 12.4k exp + Holy Bath Water, which reduces exp loss after death by 50% for 2 hours)
-Kill the boss Garm 5 times
-Kill 3 Nekomata (gives 19.2k exp)
-Kill 3 Angel (gives 18.6k)
-Kill 10 Sudama (gives 15k exp)
-Kill 4 Onmoraki (gives 18.6k exp)
Remember for all quests, you must deal the killing blow.
All of these enemies appear in Sugi Bronze. Sometimes you'll have to do multiple runs to get floors that actually have the enemies, but they're all there. The exp gain is a huge help for early on and all the quests except for killing the Garm 5 times is repeatable, so it could actually get you all the way to level 30, on Sugi Bronze alone.
If you complete the quest for killing Garm 5 times, the guard will ask a second question regarding which reward you want.
-The first reward is for melee, and will give a talisman that increases your close range damage, HP, and defense if you're wielding a 1 handed sword. Durability is 30
-The second reward is for ranged, and gives 3 stacks of 100 bullets, each stack being more effective depending on whether you wield a handgun, shotgun, or rifle.
-The third reward is for magic, and gives a talisman that increases Fire damage by 10%, Max MP by 20, and MP REGEN BY 10. That's basically a free Morrigan's Crystal from such an early level! The downside is that it only has 3 durability, so you have to be EXTRA careful with it. Don't repair it at the H3 or Yagiya shops, go to Souhonzan, Protopia, or Arcadia to repair it with the 98% change (Shinjuku Babel's armor shop has 96, if you want to gamble that). I think you could also use spiritual mixing to give the effect to a different talisman, I'll have to check this later.
