I'm gonna give the japanese client a good go...I loved playing this game..and kinda miss it, not really found any other mmo to really hook me and keep me going, no other pet based mmo really feels the same...as a longish time player of the english server is it that difficult too get used to the language barrier? Obviously item stats might be a bit of a hinderer, but eh, thats what guides are for.

Language barrier is no problem at all, prior experience is more than enough to help you get by.

Agreed. If you played a lot on the EN servers, you should be fine for the most part. There are plenty of guides and stuff for new Acts and content floating around here and sesshou too if you need them. And of course, we can help you with anything too, just let us know.

Language Barrier may be a "bit" difficult at start. But you'll mostly rely on how you memorized the menu back then, plus there's Sesshou's wiki (as mentioned) and the forums to ask around. Forums is actually very accommodating with this regard. Eventually, you'll find yourself memorizing the japanese characters such as place, stats and whatnot.
As for communication with JP players, some of them can actually speak in english. But you'll find yourself that looking for an english speaking clan being a very important thing.

just be aware that you have to put effort in on this version to get anywhere, even if you have the wallet to spare
it's infinitely better than our old english version thats for sure
