The earliest gear I can really remember being considered good were the Riders suits and Abyss cloaks. I remember the era of Omen, of DVA and Marching. As time progresses, the gear we once considered overpowered is rendered obsolete. Doubtlessly, the Ruins, Pride, and White Wolf to which I'm accustomed has long since gone the same route.
What, then, is gear suitable for endgame? I have two primary goals with my character: to be able to carry others through all content that can be soloed, and to be able to take part in almost all content that can't. It's been explained to me that endgame characters consist almost entirely of Yasha Rapids and Darkness Shock Phenomenon Spammers - but what gear best contributes to these? What should I be saving for? It's also been stated that expertise plays little role in endgame content, but if it affects the gear choices, I'd like to be a Megi Spammer in the interim until I've reached a point where DSP can carry. So are there specific Limit Break sets I should attain? Do I focus on the - relatively, for me - newfound Techincal Attack? Do I need max CDR as a Yasha/DSP? Do I want 300 crit or 3000 crit? Or is Limit Break as a mechanic outdated?
What's the endgame meta? What's the White Wolf of today? The 5-slotted Epee equivalent? Is Veronica the way to go? What of tarots and crystals? Are there specific demons that boost player damage?
I greatly appreciate as much assistance as can be given on this matter. Thank you so much for your help.

final crit, lb, lb dmg cap, ta and pursuit final crit correction is a flat crit rate compared to the mysterious raw crit rate (we'll never know how much rate 3k raw crit really is) lol who doesnt know lb lb cap raises the amount of dmg u can do with lbs (normally cap at 30k, but with lb cap can hit higher if you're strong enough), any dmg over 30k is called an intensive break ta is just extra dmg pursuit is also extra dmg example of all of these:

I would aim for:
100% Critical correction 100% LB chance 200-300%+ LB power 100% TA chance 100% TA power 100% Pursuit chance 100% Pursuit power A lot of LB release
That will warranty you can clear all the new content runs

What Vooky said, you should look for that mainly in things like Halo +3, Pure Drops +2, S.O.U.L, White Wolf Sword (Almighty sword), DBOR Black, Clench Doll, Lolipop Underwear, Jailer Pants, Yashamaru Gloves, any set that gives TA/Pursuit/LB like Hound Avatar, True Setsu/Asura, Soul Linker, Devil College, there's several accessories sets all with their own benefits, things like YinYang talisman can be extremely helpful... Nowadays Slot 1 is extremely important, there's huge bonus on appearance bonus. Has for SS/Tarot, our wiki is up to date with that (the exception being the Tarot items which you can find on the JP wiki megatenonline.wiki.fc2.com/ they translate has MaSofu). Nowadays people tend to use the same gear with variations here and there but generally the same overall, demon users being the most different (not counting non-combat classes). I would honestly advise you to read our wiki since it's updated daily and supplement that knowledge with the JP wiki. Two other things to keep in mind, Mitama demons and Digitalize System, both of these interact with each other and the player and can boost you damage by insane amounts. Both are on our wiki also. Btw the gear you will be looking for tends to be on these price ranges 50milllion - 1 billion per piece in many cases, keep that in mind.

As for the demon part of your question, there are several player-boosting variants now. Most player DPS seem to be fond of Christmas Eve Angel, as she gives +10% lbc/lbp to her summoner. I'd imagine that she'll be re-released soon given the approaching holiday season. Black Maria is likely to be another popular pick as more people get her plugin, since she boosts elemental dmg for her summoner as well as raises their lb cap AND has a large curative boost feature. Black Maria, most of the Fallen Angel family, a few Divines, Ishtar, Anat, those all give various summoner boosts via features. There are also variants available at Azura and Saien (and often events) that will give summon boosts, like the Angel I mentioned before. I'm likely forgetting some others. Once you choose your support demon, you can use WC to give them some summoner boost passives (atm, we have incant/cd/mp/hp cost reduction passives that are all relatively cheap) and slot various Orbs of Promise and D Souls through Demon Force for even more boosts/effects when you have them summoned (example is Fafnir D Soul giving +60 long-range to summoner). Also in Ink's image, the main red is the lb/intensive break, the orange pursuit, and the white outlined red is technical. You'll need to rely on gear for lb/tech, but pursuit has an expertise. Even c1 pursuit can be a big chance boost depending on your stats if you're hurting for expertise or have most of your chance from gear already, but c7 is the more potent passive. One thing to clarify is that even if you activate all three damage procs in one hit, if your 'main' hit does not lb, your pursuit/tech procs will not go over 9999, either. So lb chance/damage/crit correction remain extremely important if you want to see lots of high numbers. This may be obvious to you, sorry, but I've had several people ask so I figured I'd drop it here too. A useful link is the Fortune Cards page on our wiki (thank you Ink for keeping it updated), so you can look at a lot of the recent gear releases and get an idea of which sets do what. Unless you're planning on cashing out of the gate, you might find it useful to buy one of the maybe half-year-old sets that are still perfectly acceptable for large amounts of content but a fraction of the cost of the current top-tier endgame sets (for example, Blue Arcana VIII and True Vice are around 150-200m lately as opposed to more in-demand commanding over 1 billion per DT) just to let yourself get started farming. The only downside to this approach is that with how quickly gear gets outpaced on this server, unless you are a very fast/dedicated farmer, you probably won't be able to resell your starter set for much. Gear had much more longevity on EN, I've run into a few players who had a hard time with the transition to this server - where CAVE may release multiple sets per week and thus each set's time in the sun as BiS/the new hotness is much more limited than we remember from EN. So be forewarned before you part with your macca ;3

This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you guys so much for all of your help!
...I did completely misread the most recent Fortune Card, thinking that 20 tries would win me an automatic Hound Avatar instead of some silly - if strongish - gun.
Thanks again for all of the help!

i personally have been using hound for the past few months and it's gonna serve me for a long time, even blue hound can't step up to original hound
