Hi there!
If you've played, SMT EN, then story wise it remains unchanged! For the non existing episodes in EN yeah, you have two options. Give up and don't play SMT or embrace the challenge and play it. To do the acts it is possible to do them without even understanding one single word of japanese. Wiki Sesshou continues to be updated with the new information from JP Server. Clannies, Proboards and mostly all EN Players are very willing to help as they can.
As for the story of the acts and episodes, you'll have two options, make one up as you go along
or if you really, reeally want to know what is behind the Episodes, just translate them, it's not that hard even for someone without knowing JP. Here, I'll help:
STEP 1.
Download Google Translate for Mobile:
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.translateSTEP 2.
Initiate Episode
STEP 3.
Screenshot every dialogue
STEP 4.
Turn on your Google Translate APP (internet connection required)
STEP 5.
Load the previous taken screenshots, Point your mobile phone at it and shoot and wait, translation will appear, make your interpretation.
Accordingly to what I was able to understand by using translation, Japanese differs from EN, Subject and Verbs often shows out of place, many times the verb time is awkward, but with practice it turns out to be understandable.
STEP 6.
Write down the story you've just discovered and share with the community. I'm sure many players will be glad to findout about the rest of the story.
STEP 7.
SMT in JP is just a personality test.
Do you like the game?
Do you want to play the game?
The language is a barrier, I'll give you that, but let me ask you: Will you always give up when you have a barrier in your way?
Believe me the JP SMT is worth for the effort, since it is far better than EN SMT, and in a while you'll be happy to recognize some JP words, which you will never do if you give up now.
Sorry for my rant! I've took this personally, I used to play SMT together with my brother, we had our own clan (Neutral Clan) and this game was a way of staying connected with each other, since I've got married and moved out of our parents house and then he got married and moved out of our parents house too. This oportunity of playing SMT JP was a nice way of keeping in touch, since my brother was a major addicted in SMT I never thought he wouldn't be playing when I found out JP was playable by EN players. He blames it on the strange JP letters, I don't find them strange but lovely. I think he is just a woose.
Again, sorry for my rant, you are entitled to your opinion, and you have the right to make your own choice.
Your issue with the login it is different, but if you've never played often, you shouldn't be so far ahead you can't just start fresh.
Just on a side note, it is on my plans to do a video for each episode with a "walkthrough" with the inclusion of subtitles. But unfortunately, this will still be far from happening, since I'm still working on finishing rebirth my Odin then I'll start with Mitama, and only after the successfull finish of these tasks I'll create a new char to start from scratch and do the visual walkthrough. I'll estimate to finish Mitama in about a year or two
nah I'm just kidding but since I don't play too long each day, it will still take a while.
If you return to SMT, have fun
If you don't return to SMT, have fun too
