So, life happens.
Because life happened, I can't log on for even 1/20 the amount of time that I used to. This is the issue - for a clan built around helping new players, it's rather necessary for there to be someone who can help.
First off, I am strongly against just letting the clan die.
I believe it's important to help new players to the JP server understand what is different between the JP and international servers. I've come across dozens of players who, before joining the clan, were willing to ignore all of the additions of the JP server due to not having an adequate starting point to learn how the features work. We aim to offer this starting point from which we intend to ease the transition into the JP server. At the end, the clan's goal is for the player to be able to understand and function, properly and efficiently, while on the JP server.
The issue at hand is simple: We have no time.
By having such an ambitious goal for every member, it requires time and dedication to the individual. Play style, time zones, and other factors must also be taken into account. In the past, when a submaster and I used to play on a daily basis for an amount of time nothing short of "too long", all of these factors were handled. But now, the former most-active submaster is also dealing with the happenings of life. That left us with players who had specific questions, but no one there to answer them. This of course causes these players to search elsewhere for answers, and they end up leaving.
The best solution may be to pass the baton.
To be blunt, I can't handle it... for now, but there's no telling what life will bring next. All I can personally do is prepare for the worst while hoping for the best. In this case, preparing for the worst would consist of having someone there who can do the things that I am no longer able to do: help players, make friends, enjoy playing Imagine. If this new recruit proves worthy enough, they may be promoted to Master of the clan.
Unrealistic list of expectations for the new submaster:
Upon being accepted, the submaster's job will consist of:

Unrealistic list of expectations for the new submaster:
- A thorough understanding of introductory and intermediate features of the JP server (includes system-based features)
- Ability to gather information on new features, events, or news
- Average daily playtime of "moderate" to "too long" (3hr+)
- Willingness to postpone personal quests in order to aid another
- Positive, friendly demeanor - sociable
- Frowns upon gossip, drama, etc.
- Understands English
- Note: "Be uber-strong" is not on this list
- Note: 100% non-CP methodology is preferred so as to illustrate the possibility of not needing to pay to win
Upon being accepted, the submaster's job will consist of:
- Finding and inviting new players of the JP server into the clan (not alts)
- Helping clan members by suggesting reasonable small goals that will help them achieve their main goals
- Updating the clan FAQ as additional features become available
About the clan FAQ...
This was made before even the second person joined. The goals of the FAQ are for it to:
- Answer common questions that new players may have before they even think to ask them
- Serve as a quick, easily-accessible reference for learning/reminding oneself of a particular feature
- Only contain information on features of the JP server
- Only cover content of the introductory and intermediate levels.
- Be as inclusive as possible - no specific gear/demon recommendations
- Offer no prices for any item
