As a long time SMT Imagine player (Kitara/Mistyhaven on the English server, きたら on JP server) I would love to see this project succeed and be able to play again! I want to help any way I can. Sadly I'm not a programmer or hacker so I probably won't be of much use. What I know about the client files isn't much and you probably already know this but I'll share it anyway: The client files for all the ingame objects (characters, weapons, demons, etc) are in .nif format. It is similar to Skyrim or other Elder Scrolls game's files but formatted a little differently. They can be opened and edited with Nifskope. While Megaten was still going I was able to swap item textures and meshes to make items look different on the client side. (I can say that now since I can't be banned anymore lol) Chaos hero coat open in Nifskope: Here is Dr. Aya's NPC-only outfit on my character near the end of the English server: (not really, this is just the secret service coat's .nif file with meshes and textures from Aya's outfit edited into it for a different look on my screen only) ....this is probably more helpful for someone who wants to use Megaten files to create a SMT-themed Skyrim, Fallout NV, or other Elder Scrolls game mod than for creating a private server. However, it is still good to know that editing client files isn't impossible and new content being added on the private server should be possible This is amazing! Have you joined the Discord server yet? You may not be able to code, but if you have some knowledge on 3D modelling, you'd be a great help! ^v^

Experienced professional programmer here. I code in C# for work and have been writing in C++ for personal projects for about 14 years now. I also have some experience in database management with MS SQL Server and MySQL in addition to some knowledge of different IIS configurations. I've familiarized myself with the structure of the PSO Blue Burst "tethealla" private server code and occasionally do expedited runs with remixed drops and exp rates based off of my changes (which is a blast by the way). In addition to this, I can read JLPT2 level fluency Japanese and I am extremely passionate about the preservation of games media through emulation and simulation of anything possible. Currently I am running the entirety of Megaten in preparation for P5's US release in February. I have never played SMTO and it is currently the only non-mobile game on my list that I have no means of playing when its turn rolls around in about a month. I cringe at the thought that had I started this run last year, I would have been able to play the Japanese release without issue. I don't expect this game to be fully playable in time for its turn to roll around but I would like to see if I can help contribute to this project, especially considering I am looking for a project for December when I will have a lot of time to work on something. Maybe we can make this a surprise gift for the internet in 2016

Update, Omega just messaged me back saying that he doesn't mind anyone that wants to help and he just needs to pm you or something because he doesn't watch the forums, if you get on discord I can give you his discord number and you can pm him that way or he said that he can talk to you with some other means if you aren't into discord.

I was in ur clan with Xander n you. -.- i wish they get this going again. I think i might have my profile files and server files still saved on my computer. I always back them up :3

Could someone point me towards the project lead, I've a few questions about this. I played imagine when it was first launched and liked it but wasn't really ready for it. Was kinda saddened when they shut down the servers for the us. Thanks for reviving this. Also, thanks for pointing my to the lead.

Hello everyone. I am Coronasoul and am completely new to this site. I just decide to look up Imagine once again and found this. I played it when it was still up about a year or 2 ago (can't quite remember) and loved it, never got that far though and didn't play it all that much but I still loved it and would love to be able to play it again so I support what you guys are doing and hope you can make it. If I was smart enough I would actually try to help but I have no skill in that field sadly so all I can do is support you guys for doing what you guys are doing. I haven't read everything that's going on in this thread but I think I get the gist of what's going on (most likely not lol). I give you guys all my support and hope you guys make it best of luck to you guys XD (wish I could do something to actually help you guys though)

I have just heard of this game and am such a fan of the series. I have to say I am very disappointed that the game went to the pay to win direction and even sadder that it seems to be floating in the wind. I can't express the joy that i see in seeing people who love a game trying to save it. I just want to say that I hope you get it up and running and i will hopefully be there when it does so i can love it with all of you.
