Hello, I've been playing on the Y Beach a lot and found it very worthwhile to farm there. Not only can you get many loots, but if you feel like training WK, Attack, Rapid, Gun, etc techniques, this is a really good place to do so (since, without the event weapon, you only deal 1 dmg). Anyways, I just thought I would add what I know of this beach to a guide.
First off, to access this beach, you have to speak to the new NPC located at 18x,21y (right across from the Cathedral) in Shinjuku Babel. (Pick his first chat option to enter the beach).
In the beach you will find a few NPC's here. There will be an obvious EXIT npc.
Tajikarao NPC. He sells ♂ PG (which has special versions of Loki, Raphael, and Kresnik) for 3200 Dull Melons, 1200 Red Melons, or 20 Melon Dsouls. He also sells a special version of himself for 1600 Dull Melons, 600 Red Melons, or 10 Melon Dsouls.
Next NPC is Ishtar. She sells ♀ PG (which includes special versions of Lakshmi, Ishtar, and Lilith) for 3200 Dull Melons, 1200 Red Melons, or 20 Melon Dsouls.
Yagimiyu NPC lets you trade in your melons for pillars, (at a somewhat ridiculous rate). She also can sell you the 10CP Melon Weapon. It is 1000 Dull Melons or 300 Red Melons for 1 pillar. You can also trade her 3 Banana DSouls for 1 pillars (those you cannot get from the beach but you can get them in the current Mara Event). (She also tends to move around a bit on the beach).
Now I will go into discussing the event weapons that help kill the melons. The first event weapon is, as mentioned above, a 10CP weapon. It is not tradeable, but you can gift the weapon if you purchase it through Yagimiyu, instead of the website. This event weapon 1. allows you to deal more than 1 dmg 2. Gives 1000% dmg boost to melee based attack (AKA basic attack, spin, etc.) but not magic or, of course, gun based attack. (However it seems the boost is significantly lower if you have LoA on). This weapon works on all the mobs: Melon, Deformed Melon, Nightmare Melon, BONUS Melon.
There is also the event weapon from last year. This stick acts similar to the current events weapon. The difference is, this one IS tradeable (some people have sold it in bazars) but the drawback is that it does not work on Nightmare Melons. It does however work on Melon, Deformed, and BONUS melons.
Next thing is the different mobs. The first regular melon drops mags, dull melons, and red melons. (It may drop Dsouls but I have yet to get any from it)
The Deformed melons are quite a bit bigger than those. They drop dull melons, red melons (higher rate than regular melons), and confirmed drop Melon Dsouls at a very rare chance.
The Nightmare Melon is a little rare, odds of spawning seem significantly higher when multiple players are in the run killing melons. It seems so far it has a chance of spawning from any melon death. This Melon is only a tiny bit bigger than then deformed melons, but has a LOT more HP than them. After defeating the Nightmare Melon, it will begin a, around, 10 second BONUS "round". During this, BONUS Melons (listed below) spawn for a short amount of time. *UPDATE* I have heard from a few sources that there is a chance these drop 10 Macca Papers. I am uncertain if all melons drop this, or just Nightmare Melons.
BONUS Melons, although only out for a few seconds, have very great drops! They (I think) always drop Magnetite, Macca, and have very very high odds of dropping Red Melons, and Dull Melons. They also seem to have the highest drop rate of Melon Dsouls.
Other than these melons, 2 demons also spawn. Since we know what they look like, I won't include pictures of them. Ghoul and Mishaguji-Sama spawn on the beach. *UPDATE* I found out that these 2 spawning demons give a good amount of experience. (Misha-Sama gives a good amount more than ghoul, but both are worth killing).
Now I will show the drops:
Dull Melon, provides 10K experience to player when used. Also can be turned in for PGs or Pillars.
Red Melon, provides 1M experience to player when used. Also can be turned in for PGs or Pillars.
Melon Dsoul, upon using in Dforce gives +20% curative intake +10% experience and expertise to summoner. Also traded in for PGs.
Please let me know if anyone thinks I should add anything to this guide!
