I used to play Megaten US when I was younger and it's been a while so I don't remember which expertise to train or stats to increase as I can't read Japanese. I couldn't find much like this on here about it and thought this could maybe help us out? I apologise if there is already something like this somewhere~ As you can see, I have numbered each expertise and stat to make it a little easier for people who cannot read Japanese. I know this is a really basic guide, but I thought maybe if experienced players could use this to help those who aren't sure what to do with what expertise and stats to increase by telling them what number(s) they should max or perhaps provide stat/expertise screen shots of different builds so they can match the numbers up themselves. For an easy example, you can see I have number 10 (Destruction Magic) of my expertise in use cause I want to become a mage. As more people see or answer this it could possibly act as a really basic build guide, if that makes sense? I hope this is easy to understand and helps at least a few people. I cannot help with what expertises or stats to increase cause I am totally clueless on my own build even, which is why I haven't used any stat points. I'm really sorry if my explanation doesn't make sense or if it's missing anything too important, I tried my best! I'd also really appreciate and info on a pure mage build if anyone knows anything!! Expertise! As far as pure mage builds, the easiest is: 10000 Destruction Magic 9000 Magic Control 4000 Support 2000 Curative 1000 Bless 26000 total (level 90) This will give you all of the magical toggles, and Class 2.5 Enhancement for the sake of your sanity; the downside is that you won't have Demolition Dash or Curse of the Wretched, but you can change that by completing any of the requirements for more expertise.

Now I feel a little ridiculous for not seeing it earlier >.> haha Thank you both so much, I'm really, really grateful for your help!
I was also wondering if I could skip curative and have a demon use heals or is that a bad idea? For my question about attributes, I should max Magic and Intelligence, right?

Depends, if you need Curative to unlock some expertise, then you need it, if not, its up to you. Also in that wiki page you can see all the Chains and what you need to Unlock/Raise them.
For attributes, if you re Mage raise Magic first then Int, if you re Enhancer then Int first and Magic (or Vit/Luck) later.

The curative magic in that build is for unlocking Enhancement; Class 2.5 Enhancement gives you a skill that nulls knockback, which keeps enemies from making you helpless for 5 or so seconds by endlessly dodging.
