Hey guys, I was curious on how to increase my chances of inflicting stone through use of CoTW? I saw somewhere that I should ss Inugami to neck, but that has not increased the amount of inflicting stone at all. Is the CoTW considered magic period? If so, should I just increase magic boost instead or still work towards death boost? Thanks in advance

To increase your chances of inflicting stone you have to raise your death affinity, inugami and yomtsu-shikome ss are the bests (and arahabki if you're chaos)
but that has not increased the amount of inflicting stone at all.
the chances of landing stone are low, and only the inugami boost may not be enough, you should try to get an equipment that raise death affinity and add more ss for more infos, look here : megaten.sesshou.com/wiki/index.php/Curse_of_the_Wretched

On another note, catoblepas SS boosts stone success rate by a whooping 50%, you might want to try ss one on face. And please keep in mind that stats do not affect cotw success chance at all

Once I raise my Magic control to c5 I know the lvl that I need to get to for extra stone boost

I'm aware this is an older post, but to assist with others looking at this in the future, I dug up Royce's old thread (which is what that wiki page is based on) because I noticed the wiki did not mention the base skill landing chances. The base rates for each aspect of Erosion Hex are:
Erosion Hex: Poison: 50% Muddle: 45% Paralyze: 40% Petrify: 35%
Additionally, don't forget that even if you hit 100% success of an ailment (which I did on the old server), there is still a chance it might not land depending on enemy resistances.

No clue. I just found out about Corrosion Hex today; been busy with other games. If I remember correctly, Royce originally found this info out from 2ch. I just happened to be looking for information on a drop and saw this thread, so I pulled up my old bookmark of that post. The other CotW values he had posted were:
Delay Hex: Yin Cast Time Increased: 50%
Spell Hex Magic Hex: 50%
Slash Hex Melee Hex: 50%
Bullet Hex Gun Hex: 50%
Curse of the Slow Cure Healing Effectiveness▼: 100%
Delay Hex: Yang Cooldown Increased: 50%
Damage Hex Void Hit Stun: 50%
Curse of the Broken Mirror Void Tetrakarn: 100% Void Makakarn: 100%
Sorry!

Oh, cool! I thought that page of charts was lost when Aeria spazzed about all of the Finella data. Didn't know it was re-added afterwards.
