It means that low tier items are pushed off the loot table. A simple example would be the cans in shibuya, if my memory doesn't fail me. My smith had high luck and cans wouldn't drop making farming aluminium? a living hell.

DID YOU KNOW? with a high enough luck stat it is possible to 'push items off the loot table' or reduce the chance of getting them to 0%. This is due to the way that drop mechanics work for the more rarer items. What do you mean with this? If I went with my Synther (500 luck xD), I could never get the item what im looking for (e.g Plugins xD)? I have heard something like this before in the EN server, the stat itself has a specific cap that if surpassed will turn the chances into "negative" numbers, causing the counter to start from 0. What I heard was from PvP demon HP count (a daisoujou iirc?) Would need some testing though.

Ah that more applied to low level items (eg. plasma trash). Items on loot tables were divided into groups and only one item from each group could be part of the items you receive. The best example I can think of is the 3 Oni before the loot restructuring patch. Each Oni had the following loot table: Slot 1: Nothing, Oni Charm, Tablet Piece, Oni Sword Slot 2: Nothing, Oni DCM, Oni crystal Slot 3: Nothing, ~100 mags, ~1000 mags Slot 4: Nothing, 10 Jade In this example, a maximum of 4 items can be obtained per Oni defeated (one from each slot). The item chosen for each slot has the following algorithm Roll for item 2, if fail, obtain item 1 (usually Nothing). If successful go to next roll Roll for item 3, if fail, obtain item 2, If successful go to next roll Roll for item 4.....etc Each roll is modified by luck and can potentially increase to 100% thereby removing the chance of getting any previous items. In this example it would take way too much luck to push any item off the table (it was theorized about ~700 luck was required to push slot 1 item 1 (Nothing) off the loot table), but in more common cases the amount of luck required to push items off the loot table could be as low as 100. In particular, the broken mugs when farming for tlovezohedrons and oolong cans when farming the plasmas in southeast Shibuya stopped appearing after 100 luck. Just out of curiosity, how hard is it these days to construct a luck set? Back on the US servers I had just about the finest luck set that money could buy imgur.com/ZIxXOmO.

Not sure how hard it is to construct a luck set (Motley DT was in destiny awhile back, and circled around 100m+-?) But for general luck boosting, the fate sisters have made it easier to provide teeny boosts, , there are quite a few more soulstones that boost luck too, and the golden guns were a part of destiny some time ago too. Also with Digitalize, getting Luck is fairly easy (It's how Missy was able to farm and get Ongyou-ki in so little time)

3 Ongyou's per day , did they make it easier to summon him? I fought 4 Ongyou's at 550 luck. The first three I fought in the presence of my luck boosting party members and they all failed to yield the plug-in item. It was only the last one that I fought, away from everyone else, that dropped the plug-in item. I didn't find anything concrete from further studies, but it seemed that anyone in the general area of the fight (can see the enemy on their mini map), who attacked or was attacked, had a chance to use their own luck value in determining what items dropped. I liked to run with a primary gear set + demon to deal damage, and a secondary luck set + lucky demon that I would switch into for dealing the killing blow so that I didn't have to rely on anyone else.

I usually go with 2 persona from my clan + my Synth 540 luck + my Sier, all of us with the oni paper to summon the onis, and as I said usually got enough tables to summon Ongyo 2/3 times.
the most rare table is the one from kinki, and I have store 10/7 tables from fuuki/suiki.
Always with free lot on and all of us activate Digi from the start of the battle xD (240 luck, 200, 150, 540, 100) those are the luck stats.
and thats all I can say about our runs xD
Ill try to hit it at least once with my Synther from now on to see what happend xD

Hmm interesting. I guess during the loot restructuring patch, they must have made him easier to summon, but harder to get his plug-in.
I can't seem to find much information on the digitalize system. How does it help with luck? I feel like I might have to start playing again soon to see what I'm missing out on.

DID YOU KNOW? There's a rare Ganesha roaming among the other Ganeshas in Shinagawa. This rare Ganesha is on a 10 minute respawn timer as opposed to the 2 minute timer the other ones go on. He also drops better stuff, although it might not be noticeable with low luck. In particular, he dropped black eggs instead of green eggs and had a pretty high chance of dropping the item to summon the Grimekala field boss. Wait, I've been getting the Girimehkala's summoning items from just random Ganesha mobs, so that means the Ganesha who dropped them were the rare one? if so, then what specific trait should I recognize from these Ganeshas? And I'd been playing EN server or a year but I never actually got a chance to see the floor. I never even knew it existed! Thanks for the info, maybe it's about time I'll commence more adventure in Suginami dungeons. We could go together if you already have a character here. That suspicious door! I'd never been able to open it back then. Well, I wasn't really a person who asked around. 勉強になった!Thanks!

Did you know that... Some demons in Suzaku Gold hit their own peers...? For serious? Does this always happen or just sometimes? I've never been through the Suzaku dungeons before, due to it not having too much appealing things for me. XD
