Heya hee-ho! Sorry about the caps on the title. As of now I'm really hyper and getting more and more attached to this game and its awesome international community. Should I get to the main point of this thread? 'Aight. As you see, this game world is so vast and there are many stuff we still don't know yet about it. However, if we combine our knowledge and share it with each other, the mutual information will eventually spread and thus there will be more players informed about awesome things and facts in this game! It's simple. If you discover something that most people may not know yet, whether it is by coincidence or pure experiment you have been working for, SHARE! What are you waiting for? You may also add a source or screenshot (with spoiler mark preferred) that may be able to prove and support your facts. Make sure to put your fact on quote as well. I'll break the ice and start first! Source: Myself. Initially this is a coincidental discovery when I was exploring the B12F➔ in order to visit Tokisada's den in Old Ichigaya Camp (Gold). The run is indeed full of Erosion Hex demons that are always ready to screw you over if you're vulnerable to status ailment. I can say that I don't even need Pallas Athena's crystal to keep rollin'. Then again, if your talisman slot has been used for Lilith's or Mothman's crystal, better keep it that way. The exception is for your demons who are weak to specific ailment's affinity, such as magic, nerve, mind, or even death. Source: Megaten FC2 Wiki. Please refer to this wiki for more accurate information. My clanmates taught me this. If for example you have an old equipment that has -30% cooldown in it and you find a NEW better equipment to put the cooldown in, you may think that you wish you'd seperate the -30% cooldown from your old equipment and transfer it to the new one. Yes, you can! For other method, I haven't tried yet but the only one I have tried was with Soil of Ymir (ユミルの土). But first of all, you must talk to a Dwarf (X24, Y14) in Ikebukuro. If you don't have the map, you can pinpoint his position from the Cathedral of Shadow. From there, turn right and walk until an intersection. Then turn left instead of going straight ahead. There are two Dwarves, each stands in their own dead end so don't confuse one. After that, follow all the instruction given and accept his quest. Simply show him the Soil of Ymir to complete it and finally you can choose the option on which you commence the separation (分離). WARNING: You can do this by yourself but if your character is not made for SI'er (物霊者), you're bound to fail, leaving half of the equipment's durability taken away. Most notable with the resulting 13/13 durability.

DID YOU KNOW The DCO menu has a lot of features on top of the CP shop. There's an in-game BBS, and also even a message system so that you can leave messages for players even when they are offline. Even better yet, you can access it from your own browser, not just in-game. The browser version has even more options, including a survey that awards you a free Balm of Life, and a "tell a friend" button. This button will be useful to many because if you invite a "friend" who makes an account and reaches level 20, during the next maintenance you will receive 3 Lethe's Water and the "friend" will receive an incense. On the topic of the DCO menu: DID YOU KNOW At levels 25, 35, 45, 60, and 70, an item appears in your CP shop that costs 0CP. It's a bundle of mediocre items like a random gold plate, Orb/Beads of Speed, field boss summon items, XP Incense, and/or a little magnetite. Yay for free stuff that doesn't take up your inventory space. Rechecked my sources: Level 35 pack includes Cabinet 2.0 and a Sequencer. This is the most valuable thing out of all of them, sadly. If you're over level 45, can no longer claim the level 35 prize. DID YOU KNOW SPECULATE There are preparations for a Light/Neutral/Dark system to be implemented alongside the Law/Neutral/Chaos system. Where the exact lines would be, I do not know. However, there are some pretty bare areas, so we have a pretty long wait ahead of us if it's to ever be implemented at all.

I actually did mine during the Mara event and got one non-trade balm of life by answering many surveys/questions from the server. The reward sure came in handy so I'd say that if you don't have anything to do in-game, take your time to answer the surveys!

I'll add another. Not many people might find this useful but at least this one is interesting.
Source: Myself. I'm an Enh/LoA and I solo'd the reset DM a lot to farm DM cards for VA chips. This was also discovered coincidentally when I gave up hitting the King Frost and let him Megidolaon me.
ALSO, waiting for anyone to post an info how to defeat King Frost very fast!
I was doing DM with Japanese people from Community Search and whenever King Frost appeared, one of them always nailed the King Frost with few hits only. Curiosity has engulfed me since then.

King Frost isn't invincible, but just has MUCH higher stats than normal. The damage isn't fixed at 1, it's just that he has stupidly high defense/resistance. He doesn't always do 9999, it's just the insane modifier. Also, he is vulnerable to skills that reduce resistance. My max damage against him was 60. Seeing as I am weak, I'm sure there are players at least 10x stronger than me. 600 damage then should be enough to take him out.

Too bad I don't have enough expertise points to learn the CoTW.

Bump! And adding the new ones. 2 explanations for this: - Accels DO raise expertise faster.
- The more constant you shoot, the more expertise point you raise.
If you're planning on raising your Curative Magic by draining your MP then eating MP restoring items, keep in mind that either gums, candies, or crepes contribute the same. So you know what's best to use!

While yes, I have had that in mind since the US days, I think it is more story related, which church they support etc... and will not affect gameplay. What I mean is, you wouldn't find Seth in the messiah church, would you? I speculate that light group members are messiah church followers, neutral row belong to, uh protopia? (Iduncareaboutmostofthemhaterzcanhate) Dark are Gaia church members or demons with dark intention. In Strange Journey, you couldn't find light ones in the field at all evaaar, neutrals you could talk to, darks appeared but you couldn't interact. Maybe (prepare to find random Seths roaming suginimi heheh). Edit: LOL just realised how old dat post was.

There has been 9 alignments in the old Shin Megami Tensei games so I wouldn't be surprised at all if they implemented the light - neutral - dark.
Law - Light, Law - Neutral, Law - Dark. Neutral - Light, Neutral - Neutral, Neutral - Dark. Chaos - Light, Chaos - Neutral, Chaos - Dark.
IE. Vile Seth would be Law - Dark like in SMTII.

Did you enjoy Kuroe's voice acting during the tutorial? Want to hear more of it? When you start a Suginami Tunnels Bronze run there should be a device in a corner of the room where you start If you have Kuroe's FMD-Snipe (Damaged) or an autographed paper and interact with the device, you can activate a "voice guide". This is basically Kuroe's voice actress saying some stuff as you progress through the dungeon, there is no text or subtitles, only voice clips.

The only SMT series I play are Persona 1-4 with the spin-offs, so I have no idea about these stuff. Thanks! Did you enjoy Kuroe's voice acting during the tutorial? Want to hear more of it? I told my 'innocent' newbie friend that it's the ghost of girl in blue (Kuroe)'s voice you saw on the very first cutscene, and she believed it! XD

I can feel this game calling me back..... . . Most of these were from the US servers and may be outdated DID YOU KNOW? with a high enough luck stat it is possible to 'push items off the loot table' or reduce the chance of getting them to 0%. This is due to the way that drop mechanics work for the more rarer items. DID YOU KNOW? There's a rare Ganesha roaming among the other Ganeshas in Shinagawa. This rare Ganesha is on a 10 minute respawn timer as opposed to the 2 minute timer the other ones go on. He also drops better stuff, although it might not be noticeable with low luck. In particular, he dropped black eggs instead of green eggs and had a pretty high chance of dropping the item to summon the Grimekala field boss. DID YOU KNOW? The crystals and pixies in Shibuya Quartz Gold require two specific stats to be high enough to pass them. The requirements are 100Str+60Vit, 60Str+100Vit, 100Mag+60Int, 60Mag+100Int, 100Spd+60Lck, 60Spd+100Lck. I unfortunately can't remember which crystal/pixie requires which pair of stats but I do seem to recall that the first of the 3 pixies wants Str and Vit. DID YOU KNOW? There's a secret room in Suginami Tunnels Gold. imgur.com/9h3yDh2The portal taking you from the first floor to the second floor had a chance to take you to a treasure room where you could find a zodiac SS (not sure what you would find these days). It was theorized that the secret was dependent on what game time you entered the portal. While entering at 3:33 showed promise at first, furthers tests seemed to show no relation (although lag could have potentially affected the testing) DID YOU KNOW? There's a room in Ichigaya Camp Gold on B10 that has 15 treasure boxes in it. imgur.com/4Ds8RmAOne of the doors will open, but is blocked by crates while the other requires a method to unlock that only CAVE would consider (kill the last enemy in the group that spawns in front of the locked door just as you trigger the door which is blocked by crates to open. Only one chance per run). The timing is very difficult as attacks and movements seem to be processed at different rates by the server. As absurd as this method sounds, there's been no other proposed method of opening the door and the results have been reproduced at least a few times.

If I went with my Synther (500 luck xD), I could never get the item what im looking for (e.g Plugins xD)?
